Mays to the rescue

If anything was ever going to get me out of my funk and do an actual post, the passing of Willie Mays is probably it.  All the good stuff about Mays will be written in other places, everyone should go find someplace to read about Willie today.

Willie and Hank are the most special baseball players of all time to me personally.  Losing them both kind of feels like losing grandpas, not that I had any relationship with them.  Just special ballplayers and men.

So as a quickie, here are all the Willie Mays cards in my collection.

  2. Obviously saddened to hear about the passing of a legend... but I'm looking forward to reading tribute posts about him like this one.

  3. RIP, Willie. I'm even more thankful I just picked up his '65 Topps card a couple weeks ago. (And goodness that '57 is beautiful!)

  5. Nice Mays cards. I haven't written anything about Mays yet. I plan to...maybe. I love the '57 Mays.
