I'm trying to make my wantlist as user friendly as possible, but... I got no skills! What do the rest of you do to keep a massive amount of wants in an organized manner???
Anyway, the reason you are all here... The Contest(AKA My shameless grab for attention)!
The rules are simple, leave a comment to be entered. (Sorry, at least this time, only USA and Canada residents. Sorry!) Anyone publicizing the contest on their blog gets 2 extra entries (for a total of 3!), leave your blog address in the comments. The contest will be open for a week* and then all entries go into good old Random.org. 3 randomization's and then the top 7 on the list will get prizes**! And what are the prizes you ask??? 1st entry in the randomization gets 1st pick, 2nd gets 2nd pick and 3rd gets 3rd pick... you get the picture! Here they are!
2009 Icons 'Immortal Lettermen' Alan Page #'d /76 - Hall of Famer!
2009 Goodwin Champions 'Memorabilia Series' OJ Mayo
2010 UD Greats of the Game Jack Sikma auto
2009 Sweet Spot 'Sweet Swatch' Triple GU Mauer/Liriano/Morneau
2010 Topps Tribute Alex Rodriguez dual GU #'d /99
2005 Diamond Kings 'Timeline' Mike Mussina Dual GU #'d /1002007 Topps Highlights Ichiro GU
Good luck!
*Contest closes at 11PM Eastern/8PM Pacific on Tuesday June 7th!
**Each person can win only 1 prize. If one person gets more than one of the prizes, the entries after the 7th will 'slide up' into the prizes.

When you get a good way of posting your want list let me know, because I sure haven't come up with one.
Wow. I'm comment number 21. Posted at http://thiscardiscool.blogspot.com - good luck to.. um, me? And everyone else!
ReplyDeleteI have crazy and extensive want lists, and I don't think they're very user-friendly, but they're working documents that suit my needs.
I like the google docs spreadsheet format, though, because the tabs can make it very easy to take a huge document and spread it into managable chunks. Regardless, from my experience in trying to fill want lists, it's easiest if your lists are organized as much as possible.
Great cards for a great contest. Thanks!
ReplyDeletePlease put me down for three entries. I'll plug your contest tonight. Thanks and welcome to the blog world.

I just list my wants on a simple Blogger page. It gets pretty long, but it's easy to maintain and, I hope, navigate. White Sox Cards has the best, most organized want lists ever, if you want to get that involved.
