Flash trivia question!! The first person to give the correct answer to the question below in the comments will get PWE'd a serial numbered card featuring the player that is the correct answer.
What MLB player has the highest average number of RBI's per year played? (Career RBI/Number of years played) Minimum of 10 years played in MLB.
i'll guess albert pujols?
ReplyDeleteah crap i should have given it more thought!
DeleteI was looking at Pujols' RBI totals when I got the idea for this. But no, not him.
DeleteLou Gehrig?
ReplyDeleteGreat guess, but nope.
DeleteAh, I think that I know it now (unless there's a really small sample size fluke answer that I'm forgetting). Someone will likely guess it pretty quickly.
DeleteGood point about the sample size. I only went down to players who played at least 10 years. But since nobody has guessed anyone with that short of a career, I'm not too worried. Editing the post!
Deletejoe dimaggio?
ReplyDeleteDing ding ding, we have a winner! Dan, I don't seem to have an address for you, so if you could get that to me (my email is in my blogger profile under my 9 most wanted cards in the upper right of the blog), then I will get that card out to you!!
DeleteGoing kind of random... Manny Ramirez?
ReplyDeleteNot a bad guess, he's in the top 15 for this stat.
DeleteGood question...and I owned that game back in the day! So much fun.
ReplyDeleteI loved this game back in high school! Wish I had a way to play my NES, because if I could... I'd totally go out and pick up this game.
ReplyDeleteNever had the chance to play RBI Baseball. We had the MLB game with those glorious full rosters and the cousins has Bases Loaded.
