Heritage Parallel Question

All right, all-knowing blogosphere, here's my question:

The black and red bordered Heritage cards below are numbered in the SP portion of the set (from 425 to 500).  Does the SP designation (and implied scarcity) apply to these or are they not rare at all?
Any other info on these cards would be appreciated too!!

  1. I'm not sure how Topps went about selecting the checklists for each of the colored parallel sets, but the SP-numbered variant cards aren't any rarer or tougher to pull than a blue, red or black-bordered card from the 1-425 range.

There are 25 cards in each of the red and blue sets. I haven't even been able to find a definitive checklist for the black-bordered cards, so who knows how many there might be.

Those are lookin' great, by the way!

  2. The high numbers are not any harder to pull than the rest of the given border variant.

The black bordered cards should have the same checklist as Heritage chrome of 100 cards. That's been the practice in past years.
