Sorry, this isn't card related at all, but this week at work, we got an e-mail saying that facial hair is no longer allowed. Now we are a software company with conservative ownership, but that seemed a little heavy handed to me.
Full disclosure, I have had at least a little hair on the chin for the last 4 years. I guess the order itself doesn't bother me too much, it's the precedent it sets.
Any thoughts?
Sounds like someone at your company is a George Steinbrenner wanna be.
ReplyDeleteIn a perfect world you could claim sexism and unfair rules that only apply to men. Of course, this isn't a perfect world and the boss has the power. No it isn't fair, but it is life.
ReplyDeleteAre you working for a Japanese company? Do you have a bunch of SF Giants haters up in management?
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure it's a fight worth taking up, unless you had a beard that you had developed for a long time or had religious meaning. I had a beard in some form or another for a few years but I liked going back to clean shaven.
In that case, I think they should have to buy you a nice electric razor.
ReplyDeleteis that even legal???
ReplyDeletefight the good fight!
Bulllllll-crappppp
ReplyDeleteI love my fur! I shaved it once and felt so... I dunno, like I was missing something.
That would suck!
ReplyDeleteI hate shaving and therefore only do it about once a week. I always have fur besides my goatee. I can't imagine shaving daily. Or shaving off my goatee at that.
